Watercolor Portfolio
These are my most recent paintings, finished just a few weeks ago in July 2009.  The 2D paintings are transparent watercolor & gouache on 22x30in, 300lb cold press watercolor paper. The sculptures are balsa wood painted over with watercolor.  Each set of paintings/sculptures are based off of photographs I took during a recent vacation in Ireland.  The 2D works are the realistic representation of the sights I saw while I was there, while the sculptures represent my interpretation of the things I saw and how I personally view them.  The sculptures can be viewed in more detail on my Sculpture page.

Nine paintings from my Figure in the Environment class, Fall 2008.  Each one is based off a photograph (most of which are shown in my blog).  All are done on yupo paper in transparent watercolor, though some also have gouache, watercolor crayon, and ink.

This is a twelve painting series on stairs, done in Spring 2008.
Almost all of them are 30x40 or 40x30, on 140lb cold press watercolor paper.  Some have gouache or watercolor crayon in addition to the transparent watercolor.

Turquoise Lake, the painting with white stairs in green water, has sold.
